Little Croft Farm

We are a first-generation farming family who are passionate about sustainable, regenerative, and organic farming practices.

We believe in the humane treatment of livestock, and old-fashioned, hand-made products. We live in an 18th Century Colonial American homestead in suburban Philadelphia, and dream of sharing our journey step-by-step.

We’re not afraid of

getting our hands dirty.

The Little Croft Farm was founded in 2015 by veterans Liz & Jeff when they finally moved into their dream home, an 1802 stone house and farm along the Perkiomen Creek.

First, we began as a homestead, studying what works and what doesn’t and why. After all, what did two suburbanites know about farming, even if they love hard work? But our goal was to learn, to decolonize, and to regenerate our small corner of the world while we live on, learn about, and work with the land. We were desperate to sink in our roots by utilizing livestock to clear invasive plants and nourish the soil according to pre-modern farming methods.

It’s all about love, really. Luckily, we really love what we do.

The Little Croft Farmers are Liz & Jeff, and 3 kids (the human kind). As of 2023 our oldest, Isabelle, serves in the CSA manager role. We juggle preservation of an 1802 stone house, farm land restoration, a full-time job in IT, graduate school work, family life and a barnyard full of animals every single day.

We believe in hard work and gratitude, and we aren’t afraid to prove it.

Our passion is organic farming, soil regeneration and a humane and holistic approach in all we do.

For us, it’s everything.

No, it’s not easy being green.

Want to help us grow? Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We do all we can to reuse, recycle, and utilize sustainable practices, but farming is not for the financially faint-hearted. If you like what we do, we’d love your support. No expectations, just gratitude. Really. Truly. One last time: Thank you.
